25 Things I Hate about Facebook
Lately the popular thing to do on facebook is to write 25 things about yourself and tag your friends in it, then they are supposed to do the same. I have learned a lot about some of my friends by reading these posts, but I'm just not the type to get into that sort of thing. To me, it falls under the same category as a chain letter or one of those emails where you have to send it to 10 friends in the next 24 hours or your 3 wishes won't come true. Anyway....here it is, the 25 Things I hate about facebook.
Grandma, I know this makes no sense to you, but trust me, its funny & oh so true!

New Simpsons Intro
I've been watching the Simpsons since the very beginning...always loved them, always will! After almost 19 years of the classic Simpsons introduction scene today the brand new HDTV intro with brand new drawings and animation is being heralded across the interwebs. Let me know how you like the new intro or if you are more sentimental for the original one we have all grown to know and love.

I love you Poppy!
Cody received a Valentine's Day card from Poppy. He was so excited. I cut it off early at the end when he was saying " I love you Poppy!" So cute!
Happy Valentine's Day
I woke up this morning and decided to make the family a Valentine's Breakfast. I don't remember the last time I made pancakes...thus the horrible breakfast I made this morning.
Clay was gracious enough to eat all three of his (I guess enough syrup can help anything!). But the kids made it very clear that they weren't enjoying the pancakes at all. At one point, Cody tried to feed them to the cat, but we told him not to do that so then he kept asking when he could feed them to our dog Miga.
After everyone had stomached all we could handle, we piled up a mound of yucky pancakes and fed them to the dog. She loved them! Glad someone did.
In my attempt to salvage what was left of my Vday gesture, I wanted to complete the morning with a family photo. Clay went to the couch to lay down because he's not feeling well. (I don't think it has anything to do with the breakfast!) The kids refused to stand next to each other and look at the camera. Although Cody took perfect direction when I asked him to stand next to Miga and smile. I do have one picture of Cody with Abby (almost choking her) while he showed off the pancakes he has had in his mouth for the last 10 minutes. Lovely!
So, that's how we celebrate Valentines Day in our family. I would love to hear how you celebrate your V-Day at your house, so leave a comment. : )

KidStuf is back!
Where are the kids?
The kids have a huge play area, but often find the smallest places to be the most fun. Here I found them in a tiny little cubby under their castle. Cody comes out to say hello to the camera and calls for "Hand". That's Mommy's friend that he likes to talk to in the morning when we are being goofy.

Check your child's homework....
Found this whole thing quite funny and thought I'd share....
From the mom…
The names have been changed to protect the innocent…
Dear Mrs. Jones,
I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.
I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn’t show me dancing around a pole. It’s supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot.
From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Home Depot
